Pastor Moses Estrada
Moses was born and raised in California, though he says that Colorado has always been in his heart. He became the pastor-teacher of Grace Bible Church in November 2013. The Risen Lord Jesus Christ rescued and saved him during High School. He left California to attend Bible College in Colorado. He met his wife, Joy, at college and got married in June of 1999. In 2004 he returned to California with his family to attend The Master’s Seminary and in May 2009 he graduated with a Masters of Divinity. He loves to spend time with his wife serving and making memories together. His favorite verse is Philippians 1:21, “For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.”
Moses and Joy have been married for 18 years. Joy is his best friend, faithful wife, helper, mother and ministry companion. They both have a passion for seeing Christ exalted in everything they do especially normal, mundane, everyday life. They have 4 children. Moses enjoys anything he can do with his family including serving, traveling, camping, playing Catan or Legendary, and just hanging out.
Elder Bryan Ragsdale
Bryan Ragsdale grew up in a pastor’s home just east of Colorado Springs, Colorado. He turned to Christ for salvation around the age of 15, being given a strong desire to serve the local church. Bryan married his wife Candice during his final year at Bible school and later served as a youth intern for a few years in Wyoming and Utah.
After pastoring youth in Wyoming for two years, he and his family moved to California in the summer of 2012 to attend The Master’s Seminary in Sun Valley. Two years after he started seminary, he and his family moved to Lancaster and joined Roosevelt Community Church.
Bryan spent two and a half years as a pastoral intern at Roosevelt Community Church from January 2014 through May 2016. Upon graduating from TMS in May 2016 with his Master’s of Divinity, Bryan and his family moved to Colorado to take an associate pastoral position at Grace Bible Church. He is currently serving alongside senior pastor, Moses Estrada, who was formerly an associate pastor at Roosevelt Community Church. Bryan and his wife, Candice, have three children (Michael, Hayden, and coming soon Molly). Bryan and Candice are thrilled by the glorious grace of God to be enabled by Him for the ministry of the gospel of Jesus Christ!
Elder Doug Jones
Doug was born and raised near Hudson, Colorado, and went to Weld Central High School. It is during those years that the Lord chose to bring him to Himself. He went on to college in Alamosa, Colorado; and then to Graduate School in Davenport, Iowa, where he began his profession as a Chiropractor. Doug moved back to practice in Colorado and the Lord blessed him when he met his wife, Carol. The Lord then blessed them both with two children. They moved to Brush in 1998 and have been a part of Grace Bible Church since shortly after that. He enjoys spending time with his family at home the most; but also working around the house, hunting, fishing and also building and flying RC model airplanes. 2 Timothy 2:15 is his conviction for serving as an Elder and his favorite book of the Bible is Ephesians (all of it).
God has grown him in many ways over the years and continues to shape and mold him. Embracing trials and even getting past fears of public speaking have allowed him to serve Christ in this ministry.
Elder Kevin Fergus
Kevin has spent the majority of his life in Morgan County. He grew up in Fort Morgan, graduated from there, and went to college at UNC. He began a career with the United States Postal Service and retired in 2014.
Kevin came to know the Lord as his personal Savior at the young age of 8. He continues to grow in knowledge of God’s Word and in service to Him today. Kevin met and married his wife Melanie in 1993, and the two of them have faithfully been of service to God’s chosen people, the church, ever since. After living in Johnstown and Wray for a few years, they moved back to the Brush/Hillrose area in 2006 and have been a part of Grace Bible Church since then.
God has faithfully grown and shaped the body of believers through the years, and it is exciting to see Him lead this church toward greater devotion and obedience to Him.
Kevin’s favorite Scripture verses are Psalm 8:1 and 1 John 5:11-13.
Deacon Russell Vick
Russell was born in Hugo, CO, and attended Genoa-Hugo High School. He has been in Colorado nearly all his life. He knew about the Lord at a young age, but remained dead in sin for several years. It was shortly after he married his lovely wife Darlene in 1990 that the Lord rescued him. One of his favorite verses is Romans 5:8: “But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
Russell and Darlene have been blessed with three boys. Russell enjoys camping and working with his family. He has been employed by CDOT since 2000.
